Wouldn’t it be nice if you could clean each and every nook and cranny of your house? Unfortunately, doing that is next to impossible. You know why? Because human is to error and we often miss some spots when cleaning, and are some of the dirtiest. I mean, from the ceiling fans to the surfaces under, you will be surprised at just how unclean your house is. All you need is to take a closer look. So, let’s look at some of these places;
Ceiling fans – these are some of the ignored places in any home and tend to be an ideal place to harbour dust. When cleaning, look at your ceiling fans, and if they are dirty, you will notice dust creeping out of the blades. Be careful when cleaning these blades. Turn the fan on and off when cleaning, and always ensure that it makes a full stop. Then wipe them carefully, going from the inside working outwards.
Bathroom and kitchen exhaust fans – the exhaust fans are quite essential as they remove moisture from your bathroom after a shower or in the kitchen after cooking. Unfortunately, the fans are often ignored until they start to malfunction when at least they should be cleaned once a year. When cleaning it, shut the fan off, then use a vacuum dust attachment to remove as much dust as you can, and thereafter, follow up with a dusting cloth.
Curtains and blinds – a lot of people do forget cleaning their curtains and blinds. So, using the upholstery attachment, vacuum your curtains, and if they have stains, dip a sponge into a mixture of water and a mild detergent and then spot treat the area and let it sit for a while before you finish off with a damp sponge. For the blinds, dust them using a lamb’s wool duster, brushing downward. And if it is stained, spray an all-purpose cleaner onto a piece of cloth to wipe the stains of your blinds.
So, these are the most forgotten areas in a home, and we can understand why – we know some of you have really tight schedules. So hire Van Nuys Home cleaning to take care of all these. We won’t leave any section unturned when cleaning, until we ensure that the house is sparkling clean, in every corner.
